Where is this available? I still haven't seen mention of it anywhere on the Lexus website, Sewell, etc.

Although if the price is $1400, as I saw mentioned somewhere, I'll pass.

get both, then give me the one you don't want. haha jk... they seem to be pretty similar in terms or performance and looks (although the tanabe has the stamp and slight downward slant) but the tanabe is 1/2 the price. the upside for HKS is the name and it is a factory upgrade so it will be handled under warranty.

What warranty issues will i be looking at in terms of an aftermarket exhaust? The exhaust itself or other?

Well I remember when I had HKS on my 7th Gen Celica, there was an issue with spot welds not properly done and exhaust leaks. Never had a problem with mine but some did. HKS also made the TRD exhaust at one point for the 7th Gen Celica too and it had the same problem. But if you bought the TRD through the dealership, you can get warranty which usually is they'll replace it for you.

But, that was just rare, it is rare to have defects, just like a car. There are some lemons out there but you won't know until you get it. If you realize one day, after you break in the exhaust for a couple weeks, and say this is 2 months after you installed the exhaust, that it sounds very raspy, or you notice rust spots, etc. then it should be covered.

I think he means that he has LED lights swapped out in the reverse and door lights...

As you mentioned, Lexus should be ok with you adding the exhaust as you can buy it through the Lexus accessories.

The other mods I have on my car are the Eibach lowering springs, XM Radio and the 18inch ISP wheels.
