i wish we were able to hear the HKS and Greddy in a vid clip taped by the same camera and distance. so we could compare the sounds

i'm with you there.

greddy looks and sounds nice, but the tips are just a little too big. They fill out the bumper a little too much and the pics were w/o the oem kit.

Size doesn't bother me.. Im actually a fan of the HKS Ti if that tells you something. However it was too quiet for me. I want something deep and loud at WOT, and low and mean at idle... I wish they made a Ti for our car . (and a turbo as well )

probably little to none. just replacing the mufflers on the 2IS will not do much of anything. the cats are where the HP is robbed, hence why the LMS exhaust gains about 20hp due to removal of the cats.

$20 says if LMS re-released their exhaust with oval mufflers, they would sell much better

I would get the greddy too but i want a full catback system, not an axle back. Is HKS making one soon? Otherwize it looks and sounds great.

it's gonna be hard to find your money's worth in hp #s. the greddy, hks, and tanabe are all made for the sound/looks, and everyone's been saying probably ~5whp gain, if any. even the greddy rep. i talked to admitted to this. i don't even think the companies have done any dynos on their own products... nevertheless, i'd still want to see #'s just out of curiosity

5rwhp. That's why I think its worth the extra $400 for the full exhaust and get 22-30 (can't remember) rwhp in addition to looks/sound.

but who has a full exhaust? i don't want an exhaust like the lms one w/o the cats... maybe if hks will make a catback, but i think i remember asking what their aftermarket one will be like, and i could've sworn they said axleback, not catback for sure. doesn't seem like anyone is going to make a catback... does anyone know what's going on with borla?
