I like the sound. But this particular muffler design is disappointing. I agree with most, the tips are overdone and the canisters look to be scrape magnets. Was expecting a bit more from GReddy. Especially for the price.

what power? It wasn't much more than the Tanabe which is less than half the cost and smog legal. Honestly, the LMS just seems like such a terrible route to go, makes no more power than the cat/axle backs, costs more, and is not smog legal, why would anyone get the LMS? Sound and looks only, maybe?

I would like to play the devil's advocate here...
Working in a Lexus dealership, I always wondered why the cost was so much more as far as purchasing and installing aftermarket parts at the dealer. Here's what I found out:
Most of these aftermarket companies offer a 1 year warranty on their parts against manufacturer defects. The dealership is taking a chance by offering us these products and keep in mind that unless they have you sign a waiver, they are liable to warrant the part and labor for the manufacturer's warranty period. For example, I was dumbfounded by the cost of the Black pearl emblems for my IS350. Though a bit of investigating, I found out that in an effort to be more "green" Lexus decided not to offer mass production of black pearl/gold kits as accessories. My dealership had to get my black pearl kit froman aftermarket company in TX. The one thing that put me at ease is that the dealership covered the emblems for the same 4yr/50000 mile period the factory would, if I had bought the kit from Lexus.
Just my opinion...or maybe I have been successfully brainwashed by my employers...
Anyhow, just my 2 cents.

Seems like a successful brainwashing since Lexus is only on the hook for the manufacturers warranty on any aftermarket part install. Its usually stated on the receipt.
If your Lexus dealer supports matching the car's warranty when installing aftermarket parts then your a lucky person, get it in writing of course.
