Borla exhaust question

Borla exhaust question
I installed the newer style Borla mufflers and tips. It is pretty quiet which is nice but I would like it a little bit louder. I was thinking about ditching the stock resonators but I want to know how much drone I will get if I do that. Guys that have done it, how much drone do you have?

There is a video on YouTube where a guy cut the resonators off of his LS400. The tone was much more aggressive but didn't seem intrusive. Under light throttle you should get very little to no drone.I was thinking of doing this myself since, I also have the Borla muffers as well as a Rod Millen intake.
I think this is it.

I had the resonators removed and now I have a true dual exhaust but without an H or an X pipe. It's loud and deep but midrange sounds like ***. Do any of you know if I put in an X-section if it will sound more refined? I am thinking that since the left and right bank are separate that is sounds the way it does. It's sort of choppy and WRX sounding in a way. If putting an X-section in it wont make it sound better I am going to be looking for a new y-pipe and a factory resonator section.

Who did your dual setup? I'm interested in doing a full exhaust from the headers back that would include an x-pipe and we could both get ours done at the same time and probably get a nice discount. Let me know.
