GS400 Idle Questions? - if someone can test for me.. please
I was wondering if someone knew the idles for:
Park
Neutral (should be same as park, right?)
Drive (i know the GS has low idle issues so i'm thinkin' it's supposed to be lower than the park/neutral numbers)
Reverse (this is a tricky one.. i don't understand why reverse idle is so weird)
for getting these numbers, don't drive the car, just put it in the gears respectively without moving.

GEAR NO A/C & LIGHTS
Park-Neutral Warm Engine 700 rpm
Drive 500 rpm
Reverse 625 rpm
GEAR A/C & LIGHTS ON
PARK-NEUTRAL 800
DRIVE 650
REVERSE 700
Rpms will be higher on a cold engine until it warms up. Strangely, MY GS400 slows down if I just have my headlights on. The majority of the higher RPM comes when the A/C system is ON.
My idle is buttery smooth. I can hardly feel it on. I keep the throttle body clean, use the stock air filter vice K&N, since the oil in that filter gets into the air flow sensor and affects my idle. The throttle body stays cleaner as well. I was a K&N user for over 12 years, but not in this car.
THANKS

yea both cold/warm temp.s would be great.
my stupid idle is gay lol it'll be FREEZING cold and i'll start it and it'll idle by itself at around 400RPM and then it'll warm up to the first line on the H/C display and it'll turn off.. won't idle by itself when it's warmed up..
i don't know what could fix it.. throttle body cable re-adjust?
