Default Draggy first gear

Hi guys, man it's been a long time since I posted. These cars are amazing. I have a 98 GS300 Lowered about an inch (Eibach) on 19 in. Giovanna Genoa's. I usually keep the ECT on PWR and sometimes go into the manaul shift on stretches of I95 and the HUtchinson PKwy ( Ny / CT). Lately I notice if I drive in manual for an extended period of time, when I go back to automatic the 1st gear is a little hesitant. Is this normal to anyone, as I have done some searching using diffrent key words and have not come up with anything. Thanks in advance.
