Well I was in a similar spot, average working guy wanted to do something but didnt have 40K to drop right on the spot. One of the reasons I went single turbo on my GS400 instead of twin was because I really didnt see the benefit of going for a twin setup besides it being really cool.

Jamie is single on a gs400 also.

I beleive they are selling the kit installed for about 10K, maybe less.

Another reason you may consider going single instead of twin, is why spend the extra money for a twin setup if you are still running the stock pistons, its not like you can run 30psi. In fact Jamie who has a stock engine is just running off the spring on the waste gate, It is either 6 or 9 psi spring, if I remember correctly. I run a lot more boost on my setup but I have forged low compression pistons.

Single turbo?hmmm well i guess its too late for that since i already bought the kit from a CL member. its a GS400 TT kit.. the price was good (5500 shipped). The only things missing from this kit are the fuel management and the gauges..

Well just keep in mind that it was designed for a car with low compression pistons, built tranny and other stuff I am sure. So be careful not to over do it with the boost. My guess is that you could get it installed for between 750 and 1500. Depending upon how plug and play it really is and if there are any odds and ends missing. Then add a few hours at least of dyno tuning depending upon what you end up with for fuel managmeent.

Personally I would sell the TT kit and buy the single turbo kit. I know someone who would purchase the TT kit from you jk. Either setup will make extreme power and both have already proven themselves. The engine management seems to have been the missing piece somewhat and I have been waiting to see if someone might try to use the Universal AEM EMS...
