Hopefully the HKS exhaust since that's the one I'm leaning towards right now.

From what I've heard, it sounds pretty sweet. Of course, that's all from videos, as I've never seen it first hand. Still, the feedback people have given seems to reflect the same thing.

I just wish I knew exactly how loud it was compared to stock (dB level).

I heard it at the dealer, it didn't sound that much different than stock but that may be because the car had 10 miles on the odo. Honestly I wouldn't spend the $1200-1400 on an axle-back exhaust, but thats just me, the borla will most likely be the deepest sounding one and it was suppose to come with an x-pipe but that was a couple months ago when I read it in Modified Mag.

^^ Yeah, spending that much on just an axle-back is just really not worth it IMO.

Exactly. But, I don't see anyone other than LMS coming out with a full-exhaust any -time soon.

Thumbs up

I would recommend the JIC Cat back Exhaust. I have it on my GS400 and it sounds great. It also has been called the "Gentlemens muffler". It has a nice tone to it and you can barely hear it when on the freeway. Open it up though and it will definately impress.

Just my 2 cents...

Cheers,

You're right, what I am hoping for is some one to come out with a Y-pipe that has high flow CAT's

I ordered my Tanabe Touring axle back exhaust today. From the clips it sounds very nice and simple, plus you can barely tell a difference inside the car.

I am realy liking my Megan Racing exhaust sofar. I will try to post pix this weekend. I will also try to post sound clips if I can figure out how to post sound and videos. I almost have it fixed, it seems the reson it was hanging is the rubber mount was streched out I'm thinking the service rep at the Toyota dealer streched it out when he was taking off the old ones. I got the inner drivers side mount fixed (easy) but the oute mounts seem to be attached differntly. Can any one explain how to remove them maybe pics?

Thanks guys

P.S. the tips are growing on me but they still look kinda like large pea cans that are blued at the ends. I may replace them I think that should be easy enough. does any one know of a good site to find tip that could be welded on to this exhaust?

I have the GReddy SP2 and I love it. It is a bit louder than the Tanabe, more noticeable. Search for my thread, it has some sound clips of free revving and driving. I highly recommend it
