IS3xx (07) Engine & Exhaust!
Hi guys,
as most of you now know that I've ordered an 2007 IS300. but in middle east we get IS300 with following engine:
3GR-FE is a 3.0 L (2994 cc) version with dual VVT-i. Bore is 87.5 mm while stroke is shared with the 2GR at 83 mm.
while US & Japan version using 2GR-FSE
some ppl will ask why? it's cus of gasoline direct injection which require low-sulphur fuel which is not there.
my question comes as following is it possible to use same exhaust on our version of IS ex.Tanabe and what about the Intake ??
I really searched and asked but I didnt get a clear answer, I also contacted TANABE but they really didn’t know..
I wish if someone could help
Thnx

well you basically bought a car that will be an after market nightmare. i mean, no reason to make parts for such an odd car, in the grand scheme of things.
on intake and exhaust, as long as they line up right it shouldn't be a problem.
however, all intakes and exhaust for our engines have shown little use.
