lightwave76 has this set up.

PM him and he'll probably post pics.

The Nomura box was designed by Bruce Nomura, a well known local tuner in NorCal. He's designed this box for both the GS and IS.

Lightwave or anybody that knows.

Was that box designed for pressure and heat reduction to increase HP ?

Was it for noise reduction ? Is it quieter ?

Does he still sell it ? Any info you know or anyone else. Thanks for the pic ?

It does reduce sound somewhat. The air box was so that it would keep more of the cool air seperate. I actually have a cut out in the engine bay to help bring in more air, but the area behind the headlight will also bring in cool air.

Bruce may still be designing these boxes. As far as the box goes, it can only fit specific air intake systems.

Akimoto and the old rod millen set up work with the air box.
