Default Exhaust Pipe & Badge of Lexus IS-F

as reported on Jalopnik...

http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/detroit...isf-219940.php

Sorry if it's a repost.

I like that badge. Not so sure about the pipes though. I was hoping the stacked pipes were going to look a bit better on the final build.

Badge is ok ..... but the pipes?? I dunno'. I'll reserve my judgement until I see the whole package. I hope it's a total integrated look and not too 'boy racer'.

Hey kids. ITs something differnt. I like differnt.

Why would you want a qautro type quad exhaust?

Lets not bash new concepts, or at least new concepts as far as lexus design.

The pipes suck. I don't like how the bumper comes underneath them so that they're sitting inside a hole. I agree with the first poster... I was assuming it'd look great for the final build. Maybe it still will.

I think the exhaust looks great, its hard to comment without seeing the rest of the bumper, hopefully the rest of the bumper compliments the way the exhuasts tips are placed.

PS - I love that color

When the first photos surfaced of this quad, staggered exhaust surfaced I said that I liked it.

And now, I do so even more. Check out some of the pics in the car chat section. Aaaaawesome looking. Lexus needs to be different here, and I think that their choice of "F" instead of R, S, M, or A is a good start. It hasn't been used before instead of Jag's type "R", Honda has "R", Audi's "RS" and "S", Acura's "A" Spec, Mercedes "AMG", BMW's "M"- it's all R's, S's, M's, and "A's, so I'm glad that "F" is very different. They need to work on building signature design cues to go with the "F" cars, and these exhausts could be the first in one of those cues.

More power to them!

I'm going to reserve judgement until I at least see photos of the whole car. I like what I see so far, though...

You can see those aren't real exhaust tips/pipes. They are just cpsmetic chrome tubes/ports attached to the bumper molding. You can see right throught them to the muffler, which has smaller exhaust pipes coming out.
