Performance Forced induction, intakes, exhausts, torque converters, transmissions, etc.

What? How are you supposed to do that? (K&N intake installation)

The negative terminal is always disconnected first and connected last.

With the negative terminal disconnected:
1)You can touch the negative battery post to the car chassis by accident it will have no effect.
2) You can touch the positive battery post to the car chassis by accident and it will have no effect,....because you have no ground connection! (negative battery terminal disconnected)!

However, if you disconnect the positive terminal first (negative still connected) and touch the positive battery terminal to the car chassis it will spark, short out the battery, may damage your alternator, if not blow some fuses.
