It is going to be a touch quieter because of the factory piping, you could go and change the piping as well if you wanted a little more sound-
I would image it would be another $60-$80 to change the piping as well-

Did you buy the mufflers and tips separately then had it installed? Or the shop you went to sell the mufflers and tips as well? I'm definitely interested in a better sounding exhaust for around $300.

hmmm then why doesnt more do this? if what you say is true, itll be only around $700 for the two mufflers and pipes ($300+$300+$80) total for a complete custom hks setup. wayyy cheaper than buying the lexus hks one.

I cant honestly tell you- probably because it is alot more work then just bolting on the system- add in mandrel bent pipes, stainless tubing exc and its about right-
That's why I put together this exhaust system for under $300 to show everyone- because I dont think 1.5hp is worth $600

Here is a link to the original thread- there is a full description in there

Basically I did a muffler replacement- With out tax, this set up would come out to less then $300- but provide the sound minus 1-2hp that the axleback systems give you-

One more question before buying.
Should I buy it on line and go to the exhaust shop or just go there and buy it?
I am afraid that they might not have them in stock?
Thanks

They might not have in stock- but 99% chance the warehouse they buy their parts from will-
some shops will just tell you to get what you want and bring the parts in-

I will probably do the pipes eventually- when I have time after Christmas I want to see if I can find a high performance muffler to replace the resonator and keep the sound like it is-
