Turbo'ing a GS300 was my original plan months back. Now I'm into the V8 GS's =D

You have to consider the differences between the 2JZ-GE and GTE. The GTE's internals are strengthened and are made to hold the factory boost. In order to turbo your NA 2JZ-GE, you'd have to upgrade internals. Neo said it all up there. Easiest thing to do is do the swap. I'm kind of fuzzy on this, but I believe the non-VVT-i 2JZ mount differently than the VVT-i 2JZ (from the Aristo, JDM), I could be wrong, so someone please correct me if I am. Best thing to do is the swap, since it's much more reliable than turbo'ing your stock 2JZ.

You could be like TTurboPimp and few others and have a freeway Viper-spanking, twin-turbo GS400 (one reason why I like the 1UZ and 3UZ now). But that will cost about $30k(?) in engine-work alone.

I wonder how much it'd be to just drop off a stock GS300 at Titan and ask them to do their thing?

LOL its one of those things where you think your happy with what you have and than you say you want a little bit more. Than you get a taste of the potential and you want even more. Its tough. If you stay with the jdm twins you have limits, if you bump up to the us spec twins and cams you can get alot more but you still have limits...Like Neo said and I agree you have to come up with how much hp you want before you start bolting or swapping things out. Is it something that you just want to go fast in or do you want it to be a looker aswell.? that plays a big part too. In the end the way you are bustin do you want to really get into something like this to just sell it later? You are known for changing your mind from time to time, to time, to time, to time..LOL..LOL
