Note*
*if There Is Ever Another Isx50 Exhaust Made By Borla, I Will, And I Hope You All, Will Not Doubt The Legality Of This Product And Have It Pulled From The Market...again.*

I realize a well designed header might make more of a difference, but I don't see a street legal header (OBDII friendly) ever being produced.
Sounds like a development project, and an expensive one at that. I'd still be more inclined to call up Burns and have them run the numbers for the 2GR-FSE on X Design and call it a day. I'd want to start at the exhaust ports though. Too much work for 4 - 8 hp after the crappy OEM headers.

I just started a new thread about custom exhaust since it is off-topic.

Honestly guys--I bet 90% of IS owners would not buy this exhaust, simply because it had no secondary CAT's.

This is prob why they took it off the market, to many people were complaining already, and the product was just released.

Did it really matter if it had CAT's or not, most could have just welded the stock ones on and it would have been done.

Next time a cool product comes out, we need to be patient with the developers of the product

Well, if the other 10% DID buy this exhaust BECAUSE it didn't have the secondary cats, then I imagine Borla would be bankin' on it. Borla would have totally absorbed all of Megan and LMS's sales, plus those that were waiting for something better than what Megan and LMS were offering (ie. me).

I'm sure if you are this passionate about an exhaust, you could prob find a great muffler shop to design you're own exhaust--for about the same price.
