Custom exhaust design based on other after-market products.

Hey Combfilter-
I would be interested to see what you would think if you put the converters back in-
Just curious because with my converters in, my car sounds almost identical to yours from the outside- but is much quieter on the inside....
I think you might loose 1-2 hp- but that you would be much happier with the sound-
My wife can barely tell the difference inside the car between stock and with the Magnaflows-
I wonder if aftermarket exhaust amplifies the sound from removing the converters inside the car?
Other then that- sounds great- nice tone to it-
Thanks-

OK so I just got back from the track. my previous fastest 1/8th mile was an 8.78, as i had posted here before. Today I did 4 runs all in the 8.6's. I know a 10th of a second doesn't seem like much but it actually is in an 1/8th mile. My best time today was 8.63.
I also noticed that now I have to watch my start a lot more because I was spinning today and typically had never spun before.
On a side note, gernby was out there with his new hks and he was running 8.5's. This is great for our cars. If he does some weight reduction he might be getting insane 1/4 mile times.
So, I can't let gernby have the fastest 1/8th mile time so I am going to have to look into drag radials or learn how to keep traction. I drove his car twice and even spun his tires. One time I spun them without even power jacking the start. I'll get some pics of the time slips tomorrow.
So anyways, I think the mods def helped. I'll dyno here in like two weeks and we will know for sure.

Times are helpful, but don't necessarily answer the question. Do you have trap speeds from before and after? Trap speed is directly and irrevocably related to horsepower. If trapspeed goes up, no matter what your times, you are making more power.

I just got back from the track, and am really excited about my times. I've never been to a drag strip before, so this was a new experience. I had 4 runs in the 8.5's (best is 8.534), 4 runs in the 8.6's, and 3 that were 9+ due to traction issues. The specs for my best run are below:
R/T - .333
60' - 2.043
330' - 5.621
330' MPH - 64.38
1/8 Mile - 8.534
1/8 MPH - 83.19
I really wish this was a full 1/4 mile track, so I could post the results on DragTimes.com, but I calculated my expected 1/4 mile times using averages of the top 5 NA IS350 times (avg difference between 1/4 and 1/8, and avg diff between 1/4 MPH and 1/8 MPH), and came up with 13.245 @ 104.57. The only 1/8 mile time better than mine on Dragtimes.com is Roro's, but his car is stripped and SC'ed. I'm also curious how my body weight effected the results, since I'm 201 lbs. My tank was 1 tick above 1/4 full, and all I removed was the junk in my trunk (spare tire, jack, tools, etc.). I'm looking forward to getting back to the dyno in a couple days.
BTW, I'm certain there are gains with this exhuast setup. After installing the exhaust, the ECU seemed to expect the car to accellerate slower than it did, which caused the rev limitter to kick in a few times in full auto mode. It did the same thing again when I reset the ECU. I've never had that happen with the stock exhaust. Thankfully, the ECU adjusted it's shift times so that it would shift sooner.
BTW #2, Combfilter's Magnaflow setup is VERY quiet compared to mine. I believe that his is probably going to be the quietest aftermarket solution out there. I think it's quieter than a stock G35.
