Alright, I've got a question for all you peeps!

I am looking for an Intake that delivers power at low RPM range as well as a good deep sound at low RPM. However, I wouldn't like a LOUD sound while driving at highway speeds....

..........So any advice from the list above?!?!? which is good under ^^^ that criteria?!?!?

any idea on how much difference in the sound between a 250 vs. 350? i have a 250, thinking of an intake for a relatively easy mod.

and for kicks, your description of the sound... heh.

For those wanting to hear the K&N Typhoon, here's a link to a video which is the most accurate reproduction of the sound I've seen on the internet so far. It's a K&N intake and a Tanabe exhaust.

Anyone familiar with the SRT intake? I haven't seen it mentioned in this forum however it seems very popular in others. Any reason why??

Has anyone paid less than $231.99 for a brand new K&N Typhoon? That's the best price I've seen so far through 4filters.com Couldn't seem to find any on eBay

Havent seen a decent intake for less than $230. Stupid piece of pipe with a paper filter wrapped in chicken wire.

Paid 50 bucks for my last one.

On the same topic, is there a throttle body bypass mod that can be done on these cars. (radiator fluid bypass of the TB) Keeps the TB even cooler, which helps toward having a real CAI set up. I havent looked yet since i picked up two days ago.

If there was a $50 intake, I wouldn't ever consider buying it. IMHO, the stock intake is better than any intake available. However, I do think the stock intake does benefit from the Joez intake pike, HKS drop-in filter, and shaving the resonator on the intake snorkel...

had the Fujita and just installed the Injen intake.. the Fujita was def one of the quieter intakes but once WOT, it had a nice deep sound.. the pipe on the Injen is different with the wider pipe towards the throttle body and then near the filter.. after a drive, i can feel the better response with the Injen.. after experiencing both, the Injen definitely felt a little, just a little faster than the Fujita since intakes don't really make much difference IMO the sound is def louder at WOT than Fujita with a much more deeper sound.. the only problem was that Fujita had a better fitment where the air sensor went and Injen was a little off..
