Car sounds great! If I heard the car go by and it was dark, I wouldn't have thought that it was a GS4.

V8's always sound better with a crossover pipe.

I like it. It sounds very aggressive.

I'm curious, did you install the X-pipe first when you still had the stock mufflers on? Can you comment on what an X-pipe only mod would sound like in comparison?

I only had the X-pipe on with the Borla on. It would make the exhaust system louder if you got rid of the resonators, put in the x-section and left the stock mufflers on. Wouldn't be as loud as the Borla but probably sound more agressive and you might pick up a couple hp.

Nice set up ...The borla with x pipe sounds very similar to the Magnaflow 14829 mufflers without x pipe.

I got two questions.

1. Will doing x-pipe w/out resonators plus the Magnaflow 14829 mufflers be too overtop? Meaning sound like a truck.

2. What’s your set up? I'm looking for a good sound, but not over the top mustang sound.

Thanks for your help.

I just have the magnaflow 14829 mufflers axle back, with resonators intact, and no x pipe. Here is a vid I posted in the exhaust thread. I will do a drive by video at some point. Sounds similar to the C6 Vette on the magnaflow site
Here are my magnaflows

Compare the sound to some other v8 cars with magnaflows Caddy CTSV, Corvette C6, 05 Mustang
