Nice mod! Sounds great! There seem to be an awful lot of people getting the "X-pipe, Resonator delete" muffler mod lately.


DASHOCKER, question for you, did the Magnaflows you bought also come with tips, or did you have to buy those separately?

I am considering ditching my L-tuned mufflers as I want to see if I can get rid of the minor droning/resonance at low rpms in 4th gear or lower.

Hey Hameed.. You know the sound of your exhaust along with Jonny's sets the bar for the GS4. Yup those are the mufflers I have & theyt do come with the tips. You should purchase the model # that lexmenow just installed. The 14829 does not have an offset and will be slightly angled look ala aftermarket Supra exhaust when mounted. The one lexmenow has will be on center..

I have to get me a pair of those but with a single tip rather than dual tips. Dual tips look kinda busy to me.

Nothing is wrong with aluminum. I am **** and want my exhaust to be completely stainless. It goes from stainless to aluminum to stainless X-section to aluminum and back to stainless again.

Also, how much louder would you say you new setup is compared to Borlas alone? Would you say it's twice as loud?

Yes. Just the Borlas alone the exhaust is just a little more deep than stock. Removing the resonators brings up the noise level a bit. Not to the point where it bothers me though. It doesn't have an annoying drone either, which I was worried it might have with removing the resonators.
