I am still running stock headers and converters. I have not really looked into aftermarket headers yet. From what I hear there are quite a few of them cracking. The 3 resonators were removed and the X-piece was put in place. The Borla is just a rear-section which I bought new for $550. The stainless X-section was $79 from Jegs. The muffler shop charged me $100 to do the piping to the axle-back. I am going to be re-doing the center section now that I have it how I want it to sound. I am going to have my friend make it out of stainless so that the whole system is stainless. Right now the center section is aluminized.
At first when I had removed the resonators, the shop had made the exhaust into a true dual system, without an X or an H section. DO NOT do that unless you want your car to sound like a truck with glasspacks. It was horrible. I am finally happy with the results.
