Default Intake Manifold

Hi guys,

Just a sneak peak of the new GS430/400 intake manifold from TTC. The manifold allows more airflow into the motor, and we all know that more equals more horsepower. This manifold is guaranteed to flow 25% more than the stock manifold, and is guaranteed to set your GS apart in both looks and horsepower.

Regards,

Kevin

I hate to rain on anyones parade... but... that manifold will dramatically reduce driveability and low RPM power and response. High RPM power could possibly be increased but probably not much. For a high RPM ONLY application this could have merit. For a street driver there is definitely tradeoffs.

That's true of any aftermarket intake manifold. As said there are tradeoffs. It's up top where this manifold will shine. This is a stepping stone to making more HP and getting rid of the restrictive stock intake manifold.

I personally feel that the 1/2/3uz isn't even on the same planet with the 2jz in terms of performance right now. Isn't time we change that??

OH BOY! I can't wait to see this in action. I'd like to see just much the driveability is affected. I imagine you have to have FI to really benefit from the intake.
Hurry and get it mounted

Eric,
What happen to the orginal manifold that you designed? Any flow numbers?

The original dual plenum manifold we have is for the MKIV Supra specific application. I don't believe it'd fit in the GS bay. We flowed the manifold back to back with a stock manifold, and found all cylinders to be within a couple percent of each other (which is more than I can say for the stocker) and an overall flow 29% better than the stocker.

Thanks man, I should have more detailed pics of the mani this week.

It was made to work with the drive by wire system. This particular manifold was fnged for a Q45 as per the cusotmers request, however the intakes following this one will be flanged for the Lexus DBW TB. It's an intake, same as the stocker just that it flows more air, so we don't anticipate a CEL.
