Ok, I pulled everything off the car to replace my wastegate. This is what I found!

Moral of the story: get high temp lines for everything that's gonna be sitting close to the turbo!

I'm running a MAP-ECU on my car right now. I was using a SAFC NEO at first, but it didn't work too well with boost. The MAPECU is much better and easier to tune. Oh and also with the MAPECU, the car is still fully driveable if any intercooler hose pops off

DCMANGO: Map-ECU 1

Aristo161: $25-30 off ebay. They are actually 7075. Search for Function 7 oil flange on ebay and you'll see plenty of them.

Lots of high-temp silicone parts and fiberglass or heatwrap! I learned this the hard way also.

jeff: before you got the head gaskets to lower compression, how well does the wastegate hold up? is it safe to actually ride the wastegate all the time whenever boost hits 8psi?

Or get some high-quality T-bolt clamps.

That's an incredible write up. How long did it take you altogether? Also, would I get anymore power by running the SAFC-NEO on a stock GS3 with a cold air intake?
