Well I'm thinking about purchasing the Borla competition exhaust but don't want to be dissipated with this $$$$ purchase. Anybody have this exhaust on there 350, or have had on other cars.

Not many people here are running Borla, most, if they get new exhaust, either go with Tanabe or HKS. Both seem to have pleasing results! They look great, sound great...and stick out! I'd consider Tanabe or HKS because you'd have more opinions from members around here

Wow, I'd would've thought more people here would have used Borla because of there history & it's a full exhaust not an axle back like all the other one's available. Maybe it's the price that's scaring everybody away.

If I remember right, the reason why most people haven't gotten the Borla exhaust was that it originally removes the secondary cats which is illegal (unless for offroad use). I think Borla just released a new exhuast that doesn't remove the secondary cats (CoasterG should have that one).

Yes I know they offer both just want the best bang for the buck. If I had emission inspection I bet it would still pass inspection with the other two converters.

Correct me if I'm wrong..but Borla usually has a tendency to make a car sound like a muscle car.
Tanabe and HKS are a little bit more refined, and will give you a higher/lower pitch then the one you have right now.
I dont think Borla is silent on idle either right?

You might want to hold off until Friday/Saturday. This guy is getting his Borla installed then, and will be posting up videos soon!

Well, from my understanding, Borla JUST released the street legal version. But for the offroad version, even if you remove the cats and still pass emissions...it's still illegal. Removing any cats is illegal.

Anyways, I'm waiting to see what CoasterG has to say on the Borla before I make any moves
