Borla Exhaust Photos & Video - new photos page 2!
Ok here are the photos of my newly unboxed Borla IS350 exhaust:
It was pretty dirty out of the box, which was packed pretty well. Also some marks and scratches - none on the tips however, guess I'm just being picky, after all its an exhaust.
Install is on Friday, install photos and video/sound clips to follow.

Which exhaust is that the comp, or street legal version. I'm thinking of getting the comp. version because we don't have emission checks here. Can't wait to here the exhaust. Also where did u get it from & price thanks.

Its the street legal version, I bought it from titanmotorsports.com which is the local Borla dealer in Orlando. $975 + tax, no shipping since I picked it up.
Remember the competition version without the 2nd cats is going to be fairly loud, I'm really anticipating what mine is going to sound like.

Its on, its fairly loud and its deep.
No vibration or leaks.
Need to get my video camera back from my buddy and I'll have sound clips and video up.
And the "butt-o-meter" definitely feels some performance increase.

Yep, all the resonators/pre-mufflers are gone - its X-Pipe, short stretch of piping then the mufflers.
Which explains the volume. It idles and maintains speed beautifully, hit the gas and you know it.

Well the secondary Cats are in place so I'd suspect that the no-Cats Borla and the LMS would be louder.
And I was wondering if I could use the HKS "silencers" (or whatever they are called) to tame down the Borla and then remove them for times at the drag strip.

It would be interesting to see how much of a difference the cats really make in sound level, but I don't think it is going to be as much of a difference as the resonators. The HKS silencer incerts would help quite a bit at reducing sound level, but performance will be worse than stock.
