Nice work on the swap. I contemplated putting a manual in my GS, but I went with the pushbutton shift instead. Curious about the box though - I thought the V161s only came out in tandem with the vvti motor - or did you guys get them in the US with the Non vvt motors?

No it did not. No 2GS came with an LSD unless it came with a 2jzgte (aristo). 400/430 came with 3.27 open diff. and the 300 came with a 3.92 open diff.

Liitle slow as we had to push her aside again due to some paying customers(gotta pay the bills) The drive shaft has been sorted out and worked in a new intake.Scored a throttle cable.
next go around should include a road test then disassembled for cleaning/coating and any tweaking.Im hoping to finish buy the end of the year.
