I currently have almost 90K on my car.
1. Engine - Changing from the Valvoline 5W30 engine oil I currently use to Amsoil ASL 5W30 Sythetic.
2. Transmission - Changing from Toyota Type IV ATF to Amsoil ATF Sythetic.
3. Rear Differential - Changing to Amsoil Gear Lube Synthetic for the rear differential; BTW the diff (LSD) is brand new.
After reading and searching through CL I gathered that Amsoil sythetic oils work wonders on our cars. Please advise if there is anything that I should watch out for when changing these three fluids over to synthetic. Thanks...

I think the Type-IV is synthetic. Or at least according to the guy at the Toyota parts department said. I just got 4 bottles this week to do a flush on my car. I specifically asked him if it was synthetic and he said yes. I also asked what the recommended service interval was and he recommended 30k even though the factory states that it can go for 90-120k.
Rock-a-lex, don't use any of the local auto part store fluids. The transmission will not shift correctly. Use the Toyota Type-IV fluid from the dealer. Usually about $3-4 a bottle so it's not really that much more than the Dextron you will find at AutoZone. The other option is to use Amsoil ATF.
