Default CA drivers with a turbo

A couple Q's:

-about how much $ will it run to add ~100hp and keep it relatively 'safe/reliable' as a daily driver on a 00-02 gs300? (including keeping it smog legal)

-what kind of hoops do you need to jump through to make/keep your turbo'd gs smog legal?

-would the above info be true of an IS300 as well?

Thanks!

You'd be looking at around 6-7 PSI of boost to get your up 100hp. Those are currently my goals and when everything is said and done i'll be right around 3k. But as Jeff said, make sure you have another 2-3k when things go wrong.

it's all about who you know, and you could have a 1000 hp gs300 and still 'pass' smog.
