speed bump is more like it. you just have to find someone that will dot he work if you won't/can't, and pay the price if you get caught.

however, i would be very interested to see the dyno of an is350 w/ megan headers and the borla offroad exhaust. i bet it would sound sick too

Here in tx i know plenty of people that would do this, problem is telling the ecu to ignore warnings from the front cats being removed.

That isn't a problem, since the ECU can be tricked with simulators (2 of them). The bigger hassle would be all the soot that collects on the back of the car. It's much worse than the brake dust issue.

The soot is because of not running any cats. The headers wouldn't be the issue aside from the cats.

Been there done that on myZ-28 with LT (long tube) headers. It's the same for Corvettes and Mustangs. You still use the front O2's, what were pre-cat and use sims on the post cat O2's. If you have lsx edit( reprogram the computer) you don't even need the rear O2's. You have to keep the front O2's for A/F ratio (rich, lean). You can still use cats with LT headers you just don't use the second sensors they just tell the ecm if the cats are working. And you need O2 harness extentios. The problem is that everyone that made O2 sims had to quit 'cause of the gov't. There was another thread a few months back on this.

Did you confirm if they installed them on a 350?
