Headers for IS350??
I was wondering if anybody has heard of a possibility of some company making a set of headers for the IS350? For those of you who own a 250 and have headers in your cars, what do you guys think about them?

I was talking to a local shop, and they have installed a header for the 350, and according to him with the butt dyno, it makes the most difference as compared to the intake, or the exhaust.

^ I assume it's the IS250 header, I'll ask again when I get my coilovers installed this Thursday, it should be that one, and he said that it makes a word of a difference in power.

Ask them for a copy of the dyno results. I was taking a look at the engine compartment, to see how much work it might be to install headers on a 350. Looks like a lot of work, more so it looks like a lot of thight spots wich would result in a time consuming project. If the power output is great enough though, it just might be worth it.

i believe the is250 only has one set of cats and they are after the header flange. therefor the headers are legal as they do not replace or remove any cats. the is350 has its primary cats in line with the headers, then the flange which connects the exhaust holding the second cats.
if you put the 250 headers on a 350 you're removing the primary cats so yea you're going to get power from that. get the borla off road exhaust and you 0 cats (and highly illegal and personally irresponsible car).
headers for the is350 will have to be made by TRD to be street legal, but offroad version could be made.

No way to do the 350 without the removal of the front cats and also the waring from your computer that something is wrong.

It has to remove them. Just like the 350, they are integral to the OEM header.
