spark plug wires
Is there anyone using either Magnecore or Nology spark plug wires that can testify about the product if it's better, same or worst then stock wires? If you've used/tried both wires, please let me know which one is more of the better choice. My car is a 1998 GS 300.
Thanks.

There really isnt a point to replacing those stock wires unless they are bad. The wires are pretty short, and theres only 3 of them.. i would save your money and stay with the stockers. If the stock wires go bad.. then it might be cost effective to replace em with aftermarket...

Don't replace the plug wires. Any car with a coil on plug system already has the closest and most direct path. The coil is literally sitting right on top of the spark plug! Some of these kit's I've seen are absolutely freaking ridiculous. I kid you not...I went to a car show and a guy put spark plug wires on a Scion TC. I didn't notice at first, but he tucked the coil packs behind the motor and ran a set of aftermarket spark plug wires from the packs to the plugs!!! I mean that car has one coil per plug and the distance from each coil to the plug is maybe a half inch at most. The aftermarket wiring kit added about 24 inches of unnecessary wire to the plug over stock!
Now if you're running a high power aftermarket ignition system with a CDI for a high boost engine...then yes aftermarket sparkplug wires will be beneficial. If you're stock or close to stock, then don't even bother.
