Default Pic/Vid, Weapon-r, secret weapon intake install

Well I went ahead and bought it. I just installed it and took it for a test run. All is good so far. No engine codes, no negative affects so far.

I went ahead and cleaned both the throttle body and MAF(used CRC cleaners) before installing the new intake. Fit was great install was easy and all parts were included.

I was impressed that they have actually stamped there name on every part that came in the kit (couplers, clamp also).

The kit also came with filter cleaner, air ram kit (have not installed, it works similar to the Dryer tubing that you took from your mom’s washer and dryer to make an old school intake) but it did come with a front scoop that could be added and secured down fairly easy. The filter is designed to catch it on the top and be secured. It’s not a bad idea but don’t know if I will add it on. Also the kit came with a pretty yellow filter breather (also did not install, don’t think I will)

Also came with free shipping and which came quick as hell, I order it on Saturday and just got it on Tuesday. I have to say I was impressed.

Price $194 everything $212 after cali. Tax

30min - 1hr. install

Overall rating, so far very happy 7 out of 10.

I will keep you posted in a couple of days how gains are as thing adjust. Not to mention it has great sound and right as you begin to mellow out on the throttle it has a cool hiss almost like a BOV. I think you could get more gains if i did add the air/fuel controller.

Nice! WeaponR makes nice intakes. Used to have a custom one on the supra and made the most gains.

I have the weapon R Dragon intake. The sound is great, noticeable gas mileage and HP gains. Had a few problems, cutout for my MAF sensor only allowed sensor to go in backwards, they did fix. A few of the silicone hoses provided were about 6 inches short(no big deal) 3months after I ordered finally got the chance to install!!

Its the air ram kit, works like the old school way of adding dryer hose from the washer and dryer.

The idea is good, it actually attches to the top of the intake and clamps on. Dont know if I will add it on.

Day 2:

Off the line feels strong. When down shifting it feels to have a little lag but it has adjusted for the better over the day. No codes, cutoffs or problems with the ecu.

Will keep you posted.

It's an excellent idea. A few guys in the RX300 forum have fabricated a similar, custom design based off of one that TunedRX300 originally did. Even I have something like that on my RX300. Very valuable modification at high altitude.

Default Quix Flix in Action

Well its been a about a full week. Pretty happy overall. No problems, fitment is good and overall performance is still pretty impressive. You cant hear it in the vids but it has a louder hiss then most intakes, like a BOV. TURN SOUND UP, VIDS with Digi cam.

It defanitly makes me want to do more mods.
