Default Tanabe or Greddy

Sorry to beat a Dead Horse but I am on the fence between the 2. I want to be able to hear the exhaust but it not be to overpowering where it takes away some of the Luxury feeling to the car. If the Greddy is no louder than a G35 that would be great. I am leaning towards the Tanabe but at 2 decibles not sure it will even be worth paying 6 bills for only performance increase of 4-7 horsepower. If you had to decide between the 2 and you wanted it to sound close to a G35 and gave some power gains which way would you lean. Once again sorry if this is stinkin up the joint but would like some feedback from people that have either heard the 2 or have them and give their opinions. Thanks

See that is one thing I am thinking. I just read the 12 pages on the Tanabe vs. HKS and if I had to decide I like the HKS but not sure about the loudness and love the Look of the Tanabe but want to hear my 600.00 is the HKS alot louder than a G35 coupe factory exhaust because if it is my wife would probably have my A$$!!!!!

I think I am leaning towards the Greddy. I know the tips are bigger but it sounds a tad louder and aside from the HP bump I was wanting an exhaust that had a deeper tone and the tips dont really bother me that much. I had the same tips on a RX8 Greddy exhaust and in person do not look that big and the rearend of the IS is on the hefty side so it can pull it off a little better than say a civic.

Myself, I think the Greddy tips are too big and the IS can not carry it off. Just my opinion

I don't think the IS can handle the bigass tips from Greddy either...

I figured with Volks you had to have upgraded the exhaust. I am leaning now towards the Tananbe mainly because I am not trying to boy racer this car and even though the Tanabe is a little quiet for my taste the looks will better suit the car.

I should have an exhaust, but I have spent too long contemplating what exhaust I should get.

I am still unsure.

I opted for the Tanabe's - I've seen and heard every exhaust available stateside, and I still haven't found one that I like (for sound or appearance) better than my Tanabe...

The Borla exhaust is really nice. Its a cat-back system and fits really nice on the 350. I'm not sure if the have a 250awd version yet, but the 350 exhaust will fit a 250awd with minor modification. I've seen it in person on a 250awd and it sound great.
