Thumbs up AFE stage 2 cold Air intake

Has anyone else tried this Intake. I just got it and put it on last night. I feel a huge difference in power. AFE claims it puts up to 15HP at 5000RPM.
I think it is pretty accurate. At 3000RPMs I feel a little extra boost compared to stock at just over 4000RPM the engine begins to growl like a lion and I feel a signifcant boost, than at 5000+ RPM I feel the car gains another boost of power. I am really impressed. The thing is I haven't had a chance to compare it to other Intakes on the market, that are made for the IS 250. Is this the Bomb Intake or is this what everyone else is getting out of thier intakes?

I am running a Stock IS 250 06' Manual RWD with 19" rims.

if it was a cold air intake then wouldnt it be completely closed and not open tt the engine heat. Looks just like the rest of the SRI.. As for 15hp not likely

I agree with you about the cold air claim, but I know when I am getting a significant differnence in HP. And I am telling you straight up. I don't work for AFE I have nothing to do with the company in any way I am just a IS250 owner and this intake is defenitaly giving me 10+ HP at 5000rpm.

As far as intakes are concerned, here is the performance increase you can expect.

5-7hp for an IS350.

5-7db for an IS250

You can get a dry filter with a stack from Amsoil for Fuji, K&N, etc.

The intake is seems to be a basic design, but some how its giving me more than 10hp I know it because I am use to intakes giving 5-6hp jump. When I had an acura integra back in the day I put on a short ram air intake. Obviously gave me like 5hp kick. No big woop. When I put a short ram air intake on my audi A4 3.0 again I got a small bump in power, but guys I am telling you I feel a signigant difference as soon as I straped this sucker on. I am no expert but I wish someone esle would pick one up and let me know what they had for results.
What I can tell you is that the filter is huge! and it doesn't squezze down at the back to attach to the pipe. Its open ended at the back, then it has a funnel attachment that connects to the filter which than connects to the pipe. The actual wind pipe itself seems to be made of ceramic and is pretty wide all the way to the throttle body where it squeezes down a bit to fit the size of the stock throttle body.
Thats all I know. Thats why I put it up because it seems extra ordinary to me and I thought my fellow IS guys should take a look at it.

i'm a bit skeptical, it states there is a 13 HP MAX gain and that was tested on an is350. I have an is250 and if others have an is250, i would assume the max hp gain would be less or else they were advertise that. but if others want to dyno it or have personal experience, please share becuase i have a fujita but am always looking for more power.
