Default Unichip

I have been talking to a shop in Texas that works on Unichips about having a wiring harness made for the IS350 and tuned to work with k&n Typhoon Kit and with HKS catback. I do not think I will be able to make it down to the show for a month but I will keep people informed on what I find. I am also wondering if anyone has ever used a Unichip and what the think about them?

Unichip came out with a system for the 2nd Gen Acura TL and CL a few years ago. It didn't work very well with the maps they shipped them out with. A few people got custom tunes and saw some decent gains.

They made a successful solution for Scion tC owners who turbo their 2AZ engines, but it requires a custom tune (duh!).

Gernby (fastest known IS350 in the 1/4 mile) has proved the car will definitely make more power with fuel tuning. Unichip may be able to provide this, but again, to get the most out of it you'll need to pay for a custom tune from someone who really knows WTF he's doing.
