Default (Noise coming from) Exhaust heat shield.....?

I have a vibration sound coming from what seems to be the heat shield. I've tried tightening/moving it around and it still makes the sound. Its prodominately on cold start ups, but now im hearing it even when the car is warm. I really can't stand it cuz it sounds ghetto. So my question is should I just take off the heat shield all together? If it was a small piece I wouldn't even ask, but it seems that its not your average heat shield...Its pretty big. Thanks!

I think I get that same noise. Sounds like a vibrating tin can right?

actually i looked under my car and it appears to be this metal ring clamp around the exhaust pipe thats causing the noise for me.

My exhaust tip is rattling against some thin sheetmetal near the exhaust cutout on the bumper. I think I may have to Dremel it.
