Need an IS350 in Los Angeles area for Headers
I e-mailed a company about it and here is how it went:
If you are interested in testing, please e-mail Daniel: daniel (at) mazzurisuper.com
If anything comes from this, they will only be sold either through a ClubLexus vendor, or through him should he become a vendor.

Do you have any plans for making headers for the IS350? There are quite a few people waiting for more performance parts for this car. As of now, all we have is intakes and exahusts. Headers would be the next logical step.

I do have the interested to build a set for the 350. I need a car to come by my shop so I can really look and see how much room I am working with. So far I haven't had the time. If you can find me a guy local to 91331 that can come by and I can take a close look. I will have a better idea.

He needs a car in order to design it. Someone needs to step up. Nothing I can do from here, otherwise I would of been there right now.
People complain about there being no parts available... but then no one steps up when the opportunity comes. I'm hoping someone will come across this and be interested within the next few days.

I would LOVE to see a decent set of headers developed for the 350, but I'm kind of concerned that we are going the wrong direction with it. Honestly, it seems like the best route is for someone to actually try the Megan header. At the least, the Megan header can be the prototype for the next better design. If the Megan headers aren't tested first, then nobody will know if the "new" header is any better than the Megan.
Something else that seems a little screwy about our approach is that we already had 2 people express interest to build headers in the other thread. Wouldn't it be prudent to see if one of them actually puts some effort into it instead of making everyone loose interest due to perceived competition?
Anyway, I suggest that those that are really interested in development of headers for the 350 put their money where their mouth is. I would be willing to contribute $100 toward the purchase of a Megan header for testing by one of the guys who is interested in building some 350 headers.

Hey guys, wanted to thank you for the emails and I will get back to them asap.
The thing with Megan headers is that their sizes are way off for what is needed to make the power on the 250 and the 350. They are too big and too short and are using the wrong collectors. For example the Megas for the 250 have 1.75" runners, which is .5" too big, pair that with the shortness of the runners and you can say good bye to any low to mid power.
On this motor, with the ****ty stock manifold, I wouldn't be surprised to see a gain of at least 30 whp with a good header and even more wtq.
