Default Fujita intake

A quick question, I saw that KN has detailed instructions on installing the Typhoon intake. Does Fujita have the same, can this install be done by a novice or does it require professionals.

I doubt any one that knows nothing about Car Internals would want to install this.

But most products come with instructions, few fail to leave out specific details and most are just horrid.

K&N does have a good wright up, and FUJITA has one also + you can call in and ask them questions if you have problems

I installed mine without the instructions. Pretty straight foward. Remove tube 1. Keep all bolts. Install tube 2 (fujita). Re-bolt everything. The end. lol

Default Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Will the aftermarket intake void any warranties? I was thinking about getting the black kit so it kind of blends in the engine bay and maybe the techs won't notice during oil changes?

they could only void the warranty if they provide proof that the intake caused the problem.

Any tech will notice that there is an aftermarket intake on there.

Worst comes worst, if you need to take it in for a warranty issue, slap the stock airbox back on before bringing it, shouldn't take more than an hour/hour n half to do it.
