I love my Injen Intake no problems with it so far. I've had it since October 06.

Is this a different Injen, or is it the short ram?

I wish there was more info about it. The intake pictured on that link couldn't possibly be the actual 2IS intake. I'm also only able to find the regular SRI on Injen's website.

Yeah, the pic isn't right, but it's for the 2IS. I gave them a call, the guy actually said it's just the SRI...so i dunno.
It's hard to find it on the Injen site

The actual SRI is SP2093P for polished and SP2093BLK for black.

Edit: Yeah I called them back, the SP intake is pretty much the SRI. Same part number.

for the injen, is it oil type clean like a K and N or can you clean it with soap and water when the time comes.

i have the injen sp intake sitting in its box downstairs.. thinking about installing it but also thinking about returning it.... what do you guys think.. is it worth to void the warrenty with something that gives probly no power and only sound?
my gut tells me no but if you guys seem really happy with it then maybe.....

It won't void the warranty for the whole car. The most it would void might be the MAF sensor. Well, I guess if the engine is damaged by some chunk of filter or something...

i don't have one on my IS, but i had one on my turbocharged eclipse and it was VERY loud which i loved. you could hear the turbo spool from a couple blocks away. imo, if you want a quiet intake: keep it stock. if you want a louder intake go aftermarket. keeping a car quiet isn't helping it gain power.
