It is amazing. I'm glad to hear that you agree. I really think HKS should include the silencers with the exhaust since it would totally change the common opinion of the sound. I seriously doubt the Tanabe sounds as good as the HKS with silencers.

I ordered this unit but found it was TOO large for my Lexus IS 350 exhaust. I guess I had the lexus upgrade "Dual sport exhaust by HKS" not the Power HKS, do anyone know the exact silencer I need for my lexus "Dual sport exhaust by HKS".

^^^ The OEM Lexus / HKS dual sport exhaust isn't going to be compatible with silencers due to the syle of mufflers and tips.

Finally put on the silencers on this week and I absolutely love em. Night and day difference. The drone inside is almost completely gone and still sounds great outside. I have heard the Tanabe in person but the sound on the HKS with the silencers is perfect.

It sure did on mine. It was like night and day on the inside of the cabin at 2K RPMs.

I suspect that there is some amount of importance on the insertion depth of the silencers, but I have no idea how to measure it. I believe that the harmonics would be completely different if I were to move the silencers to the end of the tips instead of the nearly fully inserted position they are in now.

My friend has an HKS hi-power axleback on his Scion tC, and the silencer makes a BIG difference! It sounds pretty much stock with it in, and has a great low rumble with it out.
