Injen intake problems
Are people still having problems with the injen intake. I looked through some old post and read alot of people had problems with it setting off the check engine light. Did they fix that problem or does it still occur. I dont want to have to spend 500$ on the srt one i find it a waste to spend that much on an intake.

Actually SRT has it on sale for $450, but I digress...I wouldn't buy a $450 intake either lol. If you want the best combo, buy an AEM intake that has the DryFlow synthetic filter(much better than oiled cotton gauze like K&N) for about $150 and get an SAFC-II or SAFC NEO for about $250-300. That combo will cost you about the same as the SRT intake but you will have a tuneable piggyback. If you decide to get headers and exhaust later on, you can tune for that as well. The SRT intake chip is more of less tuned specifically for that intake alone.
Oh yeah, there will also be some tuning costs if you don't know how to do it yourself. Most shops should charge about $100 or so per tuning session to get an SAFC dialed in.
