Default Question RE: 02 GS300 Trans

Just started last night.... After my car warms up it shifts little hard into 3rd gear. It doesnt do it when it is cold.

What could this possibly be?

Hey Elite, I thought is wasn't a good idea to switch the trans fluid from the factory brand to a synthetic after a certain number of miles? At least that is what the Tech's at Westside keep telling me.

I *believe* the toyota type T-IV fluid is already synthetic. As long as the fluid you're using is compatible, then you should be okay. This includes certain Mobil and Amsoil ATF fluids.

Fobby, how is the transmission fluid level?

What about pennzoil multi-vehicle atf? Their website states that it's T-IV compatible. Anybody else try this fluid?
