Check it out... I think this would be pretty sweet all you would need is the pipes and tuning, I think i saw someone say the stock gs300 fuel system was good for 400hp?

It's gonna lag like a **** on the GS300. The engine is too small to spool a turbo that far back. Also, the turbine efficiency is gonna be shot to hell since a ton of that heat is gonna be lost that far back. The corvette has a monstrous sized V8 that has enough low end grunt to get it going off the line so a laggy turbo kicking in later on is no problem. I'd say if you had that same axle turbo system on a GS300, you wouldnt hit boost till around 5000rpm+ or so on a mid sized 55-60trim turbo.
Also, the stock GS fuel system is only good for about 280-300rwhp. If you throw on a rising rate fuel regulator...you might be able to get away with about 320-340whp but that's really pushing it. Either way I'd recommend anyone passing the 300hp mark to upgrade the fuel system to prevent blowing the motor.

well how about the idea in general.. meaning not with the huge turbo but something that would produce say 8-12 psi on the gs? would it work with a smaller turbo?
