Default I think LMS is building superchargers for the GS300->

but why would you want a supercharger instead of a turbo? I had both and I must tell you if you want more power turbo is the way to go. A supercharged gs300 is still going to be slow compared to the new cars that are on market. E55, BMW 545 OR 550, SRT8 300C and Charger. Maybe it's me when I wanted to boost, these were the cars that I was aiming to beat.

you might be able to look into one of the is300 supercharger kits, and just modify some of the parts probably the piping

Those are some pretty though contenders to keep up with to begin with... So, You say tried both turbo and supercharger on a GS300, which supercharger kit did you use and how much rwhp did you put out...?

Mine is supercharged. AAP just moved so their numbers may have changed but I will get you the info. Mine has an HKS Rotrex supercharger on it and dyno'd at 295RWHP at 8psi.

Default I didn't have a supercharger on the GS I had it on my maxima.

It was a vortech with a 10lb pulley around 300rwhp. A maxima is lighter than a gs also. When I went to the track my maxima weighed 3480 with me inside and with the gs it was 3820. I weigh about 220lb, like I said in previous post you need atleast 400rwhp to do damage on the street with a gs due to its weight.

Im not building my car to beat people (that does feel good too)
IMO supercharged cars are more fun for city streets. Power comes on almost instantly. Turbo for more power or if your doing hwy blasts. Look at the SVT cobra, thats one mean ***** outa the box.

Auroman is yours a one-off custom or is AAP doing a few on the GS300? Is it running off Stock ECU?

This is the answer I was unable to formulate for an earlier post asking why supercharge over turbo. Hey Automan, what did your setup cost?
