if you are into power, get a turbo or twin turbo cause superchargers can't make the power u probably want... but if you are on a limited budget get a supercharger cause turbos cost more and require additional equipement to monitor it...

i would say do both. i like to be different with my car so i was looking for something to make power and be different. so i started looking at motor swaps. i thought about a 1JZ swap cause i haven't seen to many of those and also thought about taking the V8 motor from an SC430 so i could have an IS430 like the proto they came up with. but something that i have never seen before on an IS was a twin charger setup. with the right tuning u would have lots of HP at any RMP. the downside to this is the green stuff, it costs a lot to do it but it would be well worth it. i don't have near enough for a project like that but it would still be nice to do it one day.

yeah, turbo would be the way to go if your lookin for big numbers, and s/c if you want like 300-350hp, but if you do decide to go t/c be sure you have a lot of EXTRA money, because its not just gonna be a simple install, your gonna have to do alot more than just put the turbo on and think its fine. gotta find a good spot to tune and all that junk. But yeah, be sure to get a reliable kit too, keep us updated on what you decide to do.
