DAYUMN ... where have you been hiding?! Would you please tell us more about this? When did you get the headers? Please tell us more about your dyno testing too.

He has a 2gen IS300 in Saudi Arabia. It is a 3 liter version of our motor, but with port injection instead of direct injection (I think). Our's is a 2GR-FSE, and his is a 3GR-FE.

^^^ The metal sleeve is a heat sync to prevent the sensor from overheating.

Wow, I didn't know there were any other variations of our model(s). I wonder what the point of that was...? Thanks for the enlightenment though

Oops. Ok I think I am actually going to see Taylor at Dallas Performance today. If they don't have to lift the motor for access then I'm in like flint.

Jun-TW has a dyno up on their website, and it's also on l-tunedparts.com. the dyno was done on an IS250 on a Bosch dyno and i believe with the exhaust and headers it was at 238whp with a full exhaust and the headers. even though the headers have cats on them their practically straight through.

this is the dyno sheet

That's my biggest concern with these- they're designed for an IS250. Which means (assuming it's properly designed for the 250) all the tubing is way too small for an IS350 engine.

Don’t worry about it the designs are not model specific they are identical for all three models but all tubing diameters are different accordingly, just contact JUN-TW they replied to all my concerns fyi, it is aparently not supose to be loud (80 db) and since it has the cats on no o2 sensor issues were reported (to the best of my knowledge)

lol I don’t have the headers on yet I’ll probably have them on the car in a month or so. I contacted the guys at JUN-TW and they installed it along with their exhaust sys on a is300 from china, dyno’d on Bosch chassis dyno it gave a 275hp. i'll try to dyno test mine before and after installing the headers (i might have to cross borders for that though lol).

Oh. That sucks. We all know how worthless manufacturer's dyno numbers are.

Did JUN tell you what the different tube and collector sizes are for the 3 different platforms? It kind of sounds to me like they fed you a line of crap.
