Use the small 4 to 6 inch extension connected to the 5/8" socket. make sure the socket has rubber inside to hold the spark plug and prevent cracking the porcelin wehen putting it back in.

I also use a "wobble" extension, meaning that the extension wobbles, or moves around in the socket. This extra movement allows the extension to move slightly around the master cylinder and come out.

Once the spark plug is "loose", you can turn the plug out by hand and lift it out.

It should be easy to get this plug out.

Good luck!

I connected two smaller extensions while in the socket. In other words connect a small extension to the spark plug socket and put inside the spark plug hole and then add another small extension. Unscrew and reverse the process to get the assembly out. That's how I did it at least...GL!

slightly OT, but what plugs does everyone recommend as replacements? I'm 100% stock and am looking for something equal to or slightly better than stock. I saw on the Sewell Lexus website that the OEM plugs were about $11.00 bux a piece; kinda pricey IMO.

Torque Masters...I have them, so does many others on CL. Some swear by them and some say that they are just good replacements...I am in the middle. LOL!

yo pimp, how much for the plugs and do you have a part number for them? the price you paid in HI should make the plugs in the continental US much cheaper.
