Here is a little food for thought. Fuel cut at revlimiter, But you still have fuel and N20 spraying. Motor over revs. and spin bearings. Or floats valves. This would be more likly to happen in neutral.
I would hope that the rev limiter would cut spark too, not just fuel. Even if it didn't, the amount of fuel that the N2O system would be delivering would only be enough for about 50 HP. I wouldn't think that would be enough to do much of anything to the motor besides severe detonation.
Ha LOL, Its called my thumb. I have a push button right now that I let go of close to redline. I'm going to be getting a progressive controller with a window switch. After x-mas though. I've hit the revlimiter on N20. It really won't damage the motor under load.( unless your just stupid about it) It will foul the plugs quick. With an auto box you still have load to keep from over reving the motor. I'd be more worried about N20 on a IS250 manual. Missing shifts and over reving.
God I hope you take that beast to the track. I'm dying to see what kind of times you can run.
So... how many times have you sprayed so far?
Yeah I can't wait. I've went through a bottle already and a tank of gas. But I'm going to lay off for a while. No prolbems with it, I'm just poor and don't feel like wasting $30 on getting the bottle refilled.
Like Gernby said 1 heat range. I'd like to go down a step. I really think that would change the Strafied Lean Burn this car does under normal driving.( not for the better ) Either way NOS and ZEX's web site say its safe to run stock heat ranges up to a 75 shot. I've pulled the plugs a couple times now and thier is no change from stock. The burn looks good.
I'm having a prolbem uploading it to youtube. It keeps throwing it back and won't complete. So I have a friend coming over tommrow night with a digital recorder ( Mine is an old 8mm ) and we're going to try it again. The video from my exhaust was from my camera phone.
