I haven't noticed any timing being pulled via OBDII. Have you reset your ECU? Maybe the ECU is pulling timing because of something that happened several days ago, and it hasn't "forgotten" about it yet.

I've tried to get in touch with the shop and they haven't called or e-mailed back yet. All I have is what I posted up.

Actully I didn't do a reset. And I could have been from when we were changing out jets. One of our setups was pinging like hell. BTW if you get too much knock the motor shuts down. It does this without a CEL also. I know that sounds bad. My motor went through hell on that 50 shot. Lean, Rich, Lean, SHUTdown! Thats why I switched bach to the 65. We also went up one size in fuel jetting 36 N 20 F is what works safely on these cars. ( I don't know how that other IS burnt a valve. We had one 50shot run that was 15.5-16.0 for 1000 rpms before a large det., Running lean just won't do it by itself. Valve lash or cam timing had to come into play)

Do you think Lexus is going to take the car away if they see the kit? What's your concern?

this could be said about any warranty. If you bring your car in with Nitrous and get the oil changed then they can't say anything. But if you bring it back a week later with a blown motor then don't expect them to warranty it out. They can't void warrantys without cause. If you ECU stops working they will still warranty it etc... The parts that will be effected are motor internals. You can't say " NOS & Warranty " in the same sentence. This is a choice you make when you start modding your car. For every part that is changed you lose the warranty on that part. Springs = no suspenion, tire warranty. People who do mod cars like I do can fix the prolbems ourself. We/ I don't need a warranty. If you don't want to warranty your own car yourself then step away from the performance mods.

it just seems to me that if anything every did happen 40k miles down the road.. they would blame it on the nitrous whether it caused it or not..

My sarcasm was really just to make sure it wasn't because you were trying to protect your warranty. Personally, I think your warranty SHOULD be voided on many things when you install a nitrous kit. Trying to hide it just shows malicious intent IMHO.

the pupose of it being hidden isnt to keep it from lexus seeing it.. they obviously know their cars pretty well and would notice a few extra hoses.. but i like hidden kits, keeps the oem look

Wheres that NOS video!
Lextasy89...There is some room behind the rear wheel wells for a small bottle, this would be a good option for your hidden nitrous kit.
