Chase,
That would be ideal yes. If you or I can find a set I can do that no problem.
Thanks for the compliments!

Actually we have been porting the new composite intakes for a while with good results. You do not want a super slick surface especially after the injector to aid in tumbling and mixture control. Typically all you can do is remove any mold flash and blend a little though...

LOL Nice analogy with the cell phone! Haha I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem with getting that plastic back smooth again, but it's actually nothing that some 1000-2000 grit sand paper couldn't fix. The problem would be how much access you have to get into those spots....You don't happen to have a picture of that piece do you?

ITS DONE AND TESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys I can't stop smiling. This car is NUTS!! I started in 2nd gear in M mode. At 2500 rpm it just blew the tires off! So I tried 3rd gear at 3500 rpm and it was sideways all the way to redline! I shifted earily to avoid the limiter and it pined my head to the seat when it hit 4th. I've got to say that with every NOS kit a set of street drag tires are a must. So after the test, I pulled the plugs and every thing looks fine. My A/F ratios stayed @11.0. Once my bottle gets hot that will come up some. I have to say that I have a new respect for the old IS350 now. And everyone needs a NOS kit for x-mas. I may not awsner back for a while because I'm going out to play HEHEHAHA. I've got to go take all my friend for rides

I don't see how a measly 55 HP could break tires loose in 2nd gear. Are your streets wet, or is it VERY cold there?

I was wondering where the 55 came from? Standard jet sizing is in 25 hp increments. Unless he is using an odd ball jet combo.

The hp rating is suppose to be rear wheel but I wouldn't think that 50 extra rwhp would be that drastic. 100 shot would be more like that but more than I would be comfortable running with out some major timing pulled...

You have some 205 tires on the back of that thing Jeremy Congrats on the smooth install.

The Zex kits come with 55,65,75 hp jets. Its kinda odd sizing. I upgraded after my frist post to the 65 hp jets now. 205 ha, I have the stock 255/40/18. I don't know how to reply to the wheel spinning. It just spins. Its kinda fun but will be useless at the track. BTW spraying in 1st gear is point less. This car is a beast on NOS.

Jeremy - I must give you much credit for being the first person to do this. Good work. Keep it up.

It's nice the ball is rolling on FI. Seriously, hats off to you.
