So, this is my impression of how it works. The air getting sucked in spools the fan. The air has to spool it meaning resistance = less power. The throttle closes and the fan is still spinning, causing air to compress for a fraction of a second then stop the fan. Then the throttle opens again and a small amount of induction occurs, most likely a lot less than 1 psi. for maybe 8-10 combustions of the engine, less than 1 turn of crankshaft and faster than the blink of an eye. Then the process starts all over again.......

^^ i like when people bring it up, only reason that would be for sale, especially on amazon, would be if people actually bought it (or the company making it is probably losing money making it, something a business wouldnt do), which means people are driving calling their lexus isx50 Super Turbocharged, and its slower than stock =P
if i was a mechanic asked to install one of those, i would laugh and charge $3000, and be like hey man, its tough to install a super turbocharger. if the persons smart enough to buy the kit, he'll know its a reasonable installation price ^_-

With all due respect Scythe, it isn't a super turbocharger, that implies a really big turbo and with it comes a lot of lag. This is a super charger turbo kit, so you get instant power AND maintain it at the high end. It truely is the best of all worlds.
